The beautiful CD, Lent at Ephesus features the lovely voices of the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, located in rural Misouri.Founded in 1995, The Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, are a young, monastic order of Sisters. They seek, above all else, a life of union with God in prayer as guided by the Rule of St. Benedict. The Sisters sing together eight times a day as they chant the Divine Office in Latin. Along with the making of priestly vestments and sacred linens, it is the hope of the Sisters that with inspiration from the heartfelt music of Lent at Ephesus, "May we all enter into this sacred time with gratitude for the greatest act of love the world will ever know." 25 tracks.
